Salespeople / Negotiators

Sales people have the most wonderful job. Your hours are flexible and your income is unlimited – that’s the great thing about sales, you are only limited by how much effort you put in. You must be prepared to study hard and work hard. We will train you and help you every step of the way. You will never feel alone; you will always have a helping hand close by. There will be weekend work. It is your responsibility to fill your diary with both seller and buyer appointments. A lot of appointments are late afternoon - early evenings. In saying that, the hours are flexible. You don’t need experience-we will train you. If you are happy, friendly, keen to succeed and you are a positive person, then we would like to talk to you. If you have a background in sales or customer service that would be a definite advantage. You must have outstanding communication skills. This is not a 9-5 job - this is a career!
We are always looking for more salespeople to expand our operations.

A sample of things you would do as a sales person:
* Follow clear and concise plans
* Achieve quarterly targets
* Constantly learn and improve your skills and ratios
* Keep our sellers informed with constant feedback in person and over the phone
* Create sales
* Build new relationships with customers
* Negotiate sales
* Receive enquiries from prospective sellers
* Show properties to prospective buyers
* Receive enquiries from prospective buyers
* Present our proposals to prospective sellers the benefits of using our company
* Liaise with building inspectors, financial institutions and solicitors

Sales Assistants are responsible for assisting sales people with their duties. Their role is extremely important as they allow the salespeople to focus on listing and selling property. This position will either suit someone young who eventually would like to enter sales, or an older mature person, possibly retired who still would like to remain in the work force. This position is full-time.

A sample of things you would do as our sales assistant:

* pick up contracts
* meet building inspectors and valuers at our clients properties
* deliver legal documents
* deliver letters, marketing material and gifts to clients
* visit buyers and sellers
* assist with preparation and delivery of marketing material
* prepare computer reports
* attend to maintenance around the office
* obtain quotes
* assist with hiring of staff
* prepare sales aids

On joining our team, you will be assigned an area to cover, and it will be your role to generate new business for Maddisons to sell within that area. You will also locate buyers that are looking to buy in this area. It will be your responsibility to build relationships and convey our message – Our message is that Maddisons is the only choice, when it comes to selling and buying in the area. You will be phoning past clients of our company and phoning people who have not yet made contact with Maddisons. So it is essential you can convey your message with enthusiasm and excitement via the telephone. It is important you can communicate well and you can build strong relationships with the people in your area. Our goal is to keep in contact with our clients for life. This position is extremely lively and exciting. It is important you use your initiative in developing new ways to create and keep business with our company. There will be a lot of telephone work with some outdoor work as well.
This job will suit someone with a lively personality and a strong desire to succeed. We will provide training and support. This position is a great training ground to enter into the sales field.
This position is vital to the growth of the company as we expand into new areas in Sydney. This position is a target-based position with great rewards.

A sample of things you would do as a new business manager:

* You will start the day early, and plan your activities for the day
* Co-ordinate your prospecting areas
* Keep in contact with our past, present and future customers
* Advise customers why they should use our agency
* Maintain our database of qualified leads
* Bring in new business
* Create properties for sale
* Find buyers
* Create new relationships
* Work closely with the salespeople in bringing new business into the office
* Make appointments for sales people
